The Opportunity We have multiple upcoming roles in Newcastle, NSW for experienced Traffic Controllers (Level 1 & 2). We're after enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable workers who can read and implement Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP), set up E-Stops, and manage traffic safely on live construction and civil sites. To be considered, you'll need to live in Newcastle or the surrounding Hunter region (within 50km) and have your own reliable transport. About the Role Set up, monitor and pack down traffic control at construction and civil work sites Read, interpret and implement TGS / TCP and site plans Set up and manage E-Stops Direct traffic safely using stop/slow bat and two-way communication Ute driving duties (Level 2) Follow daily direction from site teams and work to WHS requirements Skills & Experience Traffic Controller tickets – Level 1 & Level 2 (essential) White Card (essential) Current NSW driver's licence and own reliable transport (essential) Demonstrated experience as a Traffic Controller on construction/civil sites Able to read and understand TGS / TCP and site plans Confident setting up E-Stops RIW card (Rail Industry Worker) – an advantage Australian citizens Available Monday to Sunday for ongoing work Safety-focused with excellent communication skills Reliable, proactive and able to follow direction with a strong work ethic What We Offer Above-award rates Daily travel allowance Penalty rates RDO calendar Ongoing work on long-term projects Weekly pay cycle Outdoor work How to Apply Click Apply Now and attach your current resume along with copies of your Traffic Controller tickets (Level 1 & 2), White Card, driver's licence and any RIW card.
