Traffic Controller – Melbourne VIC

KPI Workforce Solutions is looking for traffic controllers for casual work on construction and civil projects across Melbourne and the surrounding metropolitan area.

Work is allocated shift by shift. Reliability is what earns consistent shifts here — if you turn up on time, ticketed and ready, you will be kept busy.

What you will be doing

• Implementing traffic guidance schemes on site, to the plan and to the client's requirements
• Stop/slow bat control, signage and delineation set-up and pack-down
• Keeping the travelling public, the work crew and yourself safe for the whole shift
• Completing pre-start checks, site paperwork and incident reporting
• Working day shift, night shift and weekends as the project requires

What you need

• Traffic Controller ticket — RIISS00058 Traffic Controller Skill Set (or the VicRoads-recognised equivalent)
• Traffic Management Implementation — RIISS00059 / TMI, highly regarded
• White Card — Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
• Current Victorian driver's licence and reliable transport
• Steel-cap boots and your own PPE
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
• The right to work in Australia

Rail-ticketed controllers (RIW card, SARC/SWIRC, Category 3 rail medical) are encouraged to apply and should say so in their application — rail work is allocated separately.
