The Opportunity We have multiple upcoming roles in Newcastle, NSW for experienced, multi-skilled Construction and Civil Labourers, Machine Operators and Traffic Controllers. We're after enthusiastic, self-motivated, multi-ticketed workers who can demonstrate real experience on construction and civil sites, work independently, and follow daily direction from site teams. To be considered, you'll need to live in Newcastle or the surrounding Hunter region (within 50km) and have your own reliable transport. Roles available (multiple positions) All-round experienced multi-skilled & ticketed labourers Experienced machine operators – Dozer, Excavator, Skid Steer, Roller, Water Cart and more (GPS knowledge and current VOC highly regarded) Traffic Controllers – Level 1 & 2, ute drivers who can read TGS/plans and set up E-Stops Skilled labourers Experienced civil general labourers Riggers Formwork carpenters Carpenters EWP operators Manitou operators Dogman Forklift operators Hoist operators Peggys / cleaners Skills & Experience Construction-experienced labourers (multi-skilled and ticketed) White Card (essential) Current, relevant tickets and demonstrated construction industry experience Recent Verification of Competency (VOC) on machines – a big advantage GPS machine experience – a big advantage, especially for Dozer Operators Strong attention to detail and quality control Able to read and understand drawings and plans Current NSW driver's licence and own reliable transport (essential) Australian citizens Available Monday to Sunday for ongoing work Able to work individually and as part of a team Safety-focused with excellent communication skills Proactive problem-solvers with a strong work ethic Reliable, and able to follow direction and complete allocated tasks What We Offer Above-award rates Daily travel allowance Penalty rates RDO calendar Ongoing work on long-term projects Weekly pay cycle Outdoor work How to Apply Click Apply Now and attach your current resume along with copies of your White Card, tickets and any VOCs.
