KPI Workforce Solutions is recruiting skilled Carpenters for casual roles on projects across Melbourne. You'll produce quality carpentry and formwork to a high standard of safety, workmanship and teamwork.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out carpentry and formwork tasks in line with project requirements
- Setting out, levelling and measuring from drawings and specifications
- Assembling and fixing formwork panels, metal props, brackets and clamps
- Supporting concrete pouring, screeding and finishing
- Steel fixing, conduit laying and pipe laying as needed
- Stripping, cleaning and stacking formwork ready for reuse
- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications
- Completing work safely, on schedule and to a high standard
- Following site safety procedures and company policies
- Working cooperatively with supervisors, operators and crews
What we're looking for
- Trade-qualified Carpenter
- At least 2 years' experience in carpentry or formwork
- Proven ability assembling and fixing formwork systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to perform physically demanding manual work
- Current Construction Induction (White Card)
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Willing to work across project sites in Melbourne
- Willing to complete a Medical and Police Check
